HOW DOES THE NETWORK LICENSING SAVE ME MONEY?​

Of the eight modules, the only compulsory module is the Design Centre, platform module. By sharing the design modules according to your current project demands, you benefit from a significant cost saving. You only require additional Design Centre licenses for additional users who can then share the other modules where they are not simultaneously required.

Customisable construction drawing templates are produced from the design model in no time. Alterations reflect instantly keeping your design and production drawings in sync.

Industry compatibility

Fully compatible with DWG, DXF, DGN and other drawing formats and design standards are built into the software. Additional catalogue information and design standards can be imported as required.

Efficient design processes

Civil Designer’s design methodology adheres to civil engineering principles and practices making the software easy to understand. Incorporated design standards are applied for design model verification.

Road design

Strings or cross-section based roads design, incorporating user defined component libraries with customisable speed and material design standards.

Road intersections

Intersections can be modelled quickly. The bell mouth vertical alignment can be edited for s-curve and linear interpolation. Contours, low points and flat spots are all dynamically updated allowing fast verification.

Pipe network design

Storm and waste water network design tools take into account the spatial, geographical and hydraulic relationship between the different collection inflow points, sizing and grading the branches and mainlines accordingly.

Water network design

The Water module simulates multiple reservoirs, pump stations with up to 8 parallel pumps with pressure, level or time-based control, and an extensive list of control valves allows you to design complex fluid handling networks.

LICENSING OPTIONS

Civil Designer can be licensed individually or via a shared license pool across a network. Network licenses allow an amount of users equal to the amount of platform (Design Centre) licences available to work simultaneously.

Licensing alternatives include the Sentinel SL (software-based licence) or the Sentinel HL (hardware dongle-based) licence system.

We offer permanent licenses on all our software. This gives you the following advantages:

This module is a comprehensive road design program that provides interactive embankment design, intersections and area calculations for urban streets, single/dual carriageway roads, railways, airports, harbours and parking areas.

In addition to the powerful 3D rendering capabilities that you need for your project visualisation and presentation purposes, the CAD module provides the full drawing functionality contained in AllyCAD Professional for intensive draughting applications. It includes the surveying, structural, mechanical and architectural toolkits which simplify many time-consuming procedures.

SEWER

The Sewer Analysis and Design module is a complete tool for the design of foul water or sewerage networks. It will calculate the invert levels, slopes and diameters of the culverts as well as the design flow, capacity and the flow velocity of each culvert. The program will model a network with house connections consisting of both existing and new culverts.

STORM

Stormwater is a comprehensive tool for the network analysis and design program for runoff events. It will calculate catchment runoff, culvert flows, overflows, and routing and detention storage through user-defined ponds. It also calculates culvert sizes, invert levels and slopes and supports the Illudus, Rational, Greenfields and SWMM runoff models.

Water is a program for the full analysis and extended time simulation of fluid handling networks.The module includes items such as reservoirs, pressure release chambers, pump stations with multiple pumps, valves and all pipe types that are fully editable and can link to external consumption data tables
